Terms of Service - DataVault

1. Eligibility

You must be a real, legally recognized business entity to use DataVault as a seller. Business verification is required before listing any data.

2. Seller Obligations

Sellers must provide accurate data. You cannot list stolen data or data containing PII (Personally Identifiable Information) without explicit consent from the individuals.

3. Buyer Obligations & Auction Rules

Buyers are bound by their bids. Bids placed in auctions are legally binding, and you are only charged if you win the auction.

4. Platform Fees

DataVault charges a 5% platform fee on the final auction price. This fee is automatically deducted from the seller payout.

5. Prohibited Data

You may not sell personal health info, social security numbers, credit card data, or government IDs without proper anonymization.

6. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration.

7. Limitation of Liability & IP

DataVault is a marketplace. We do not own the data sold. Our liability is strictly limited to the platform fee collected.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms at any time.
